This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to operate a slewing mobile crane with a capacity over 100 tonnes.

It requires the operator to plan the work, conduct routine checks, set up crane, transfer loads, mobile loads and shut down and secure the crane.

Who is eligible?

Eligibility: 18 years of age or older,

Ability to hold a driver’s licence,

Sufficient English language skills.
