High Risk Work Licence

A HRWL ticket refers to a High-Risk Work Licence, which is a mandatory nationally recognized certification in Australia for individuals performing specific tasks that pose significant health and safety risks.

DO I NEED A HIGH RISK WORK LICENCE?

High Risk Work Licences are required for individuals performing specific types of work that involve high-risk equipment.

If you need to operate any type of crane or to sling any load to be lifted, erect or alter scaffolding, use pulley system or any kind of power-assisted access to heights, shift loads using machinery etc., you will need a High Risk Work licence.

To obtain a High Risk Work Licence, individuals must complete accredited training and demonstrate their ability to manage the inherent risks associated with their specific line of work.

Holding a HRWL not only protects the individual worker but also ensures that workplaces adhere to strict safety regulations. This proactive approach significantly reduces the likelihood of accidents and injuries, creating a safer working environment for everyone involved.

These licences are renewable and valid for five years.

Here Are Some Explanations From Safe Work Australia:
